For the growing need of the municipalities for products and advice, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) offers a comprehensive range of financing opportunities.

First, the advisory approach is based on a conventional financing by means of a municipal loan. A benchmark is created to evaluate whether or not and to what extent other financing models offer advantages.

Our customer groups are the following, amongst others:

• Administrative districts, towns and municipalities, including their public utility
• Associations of local authorities for the joint management of a particular service
• Other corporations and institutions under public law as well as
• Local public utilities and foundations under public law, if the loans are guaranteed by local authorities

LBBW maintains close contacts with the local umbrella organisations and is represented in the different local working groups of the Association of German Public Sector Banks (VÖB).
